EEG neurofeedback* is a branch of biofeedback. Neurofeedback is about gaining better control of your nervous system using your brain waves. It’s training your brain to be more efficient and organized. Specifically, EEG neurofeedback trains the brain to improve the brain’s overall functioning. This in turn can positively influence our mood, feelings, perceptions, thoughts and actions, and how we behave towards ourselves and others. *EEG Neurofeedback goes by a few different names: Neurofeedback therapy, neurotherapy, and brain training. It may also benefit more serious health challenges like:
Neurofeedback exercises your brain by having you see and train the electrical pulses of your own brain. It does so in the form of a game. Did you ever want to see ifyou can move things with your mind? Well, you can. You play a game with your brain using the EEG machine.
With EEG neurofeedback, you are the only person doing the work. You practice changing the speed of your electrical pulses in your brain. The more you practice this the better you get at it. The better you get at it the more it becomes a stable habit. Once it becomes a brain habit, it’s with you for the rest of your life.
With EEG neurofeedback you get the exercise you need to train your own brain to hopefully get stronger, feel more energy, and get better with whatever your goals are. That’s why it’s called brain training.
EEG Neurofeedback brain training has been around since the 70’s and it’s backed by science with loads of research.* The research has shown neurofeedback has positively helped with:
