Committing yourself to brain training using Biofeedback EEG (also called EEG Biofeedback and Neurofeedback) is a pledge for better health. It’s empowering, gentle, safe, and non-invasive. It’s also impactful.

How might it help you?  EEG biofeedback empowers your brain to become more efficient. When your brain gets more efficient it gets stronger and works better.

Help your brain to become stronger and more efficient. In doing so, you may improve your mood, your thinking, your focus, your sleep and how you act towards yourself and others.

What is Brain Training?

EEG Biofeedback is helping the brain to get better and stronger through learning. EEG Biofeedback is also called Neurofeedback. It's biofeedback using brain's own brain waves to help it learn to improve how it works and functions.

The brain loves to learn. It's your brain’s favorite exercise. Neurofeedback is exercise for brain.  When you exercise it you improve how it works.  This may help to gehot better at how you manage, cope, self-regulate and ultimately, how you cultivate your resiliency.

Brain training is done by you. You are coached along by a licensed professional, a brain trainer.  The brain trainer will use a computer designed to read your brain’s electrical pulses, called brain waves, then the computer:

  • Creates a learning game which you
  • Play to help your brain work better

Do electrical pulses go into my brain?

No. Definitely not. There are no electrical pulses that go into your brain when using EEG Biofeedback. EEG Biofeedback is 100% non-invasive.  No electricity or electrical pulses come from the equipment into or out of your brain. The neurofeedback equipment used at Mind Body Well Therapy, Pllc is an EEG machine which is short for electroencephalography. It monitors and records your brain's electrical activity. This is more commonly called brain waves. The process is done using sensors, also called electrodes, that are placed on your head and are connected to the EEG machine. This is also referred to as a biofeedback neurofeedback system or equipment. The EEG system then displays, in real-time, your brain's electrophysiological activity.
